The government has drafted a law on additional measures to prevent the spread, mitigate, control, recover and eliminate the consequences of Covid-19.

The bill covers:

- Quarantine allowance for the self-employed (the amount of compensation for 10 days should be 250 euros and for 20 days 500 euros. In the case of one-month quarantine, the beneficiaries would receive 750 euros)

- Reimbursement of costs to companies for rapid tests (The amount of reimbursement for one worker who must be tested will be 60 euros)

- Allowances for pensioners, farmers and the disabled with lower incomes (the allowance is planned in the amount of 130 euros to 300 euros)

- Allowance for civil protection and volunteers (for the former, an allowance of 30 euros per day is envisaged, while students are expected to receive 25 euros per day)

- Tourist vouchers extended, compensation for vaccination complications

- Compensation for those who would have complications after vaccination against covid-19 (The proposal provides for 60,000 euros in compensation for an individual with serious consequences. Compensation in the amount of 10,000 euros would receive parents of the child or (outside) spouse of the person who died after vaccination. Minor children of a person who died after vaccination would receive 20,000 euros in compensation.)
